Event Security

Job Description: 

Event Security effectively supervises venue rental bookings (including but not limited to meetings, themed parties, concerts, rehearsals, photoshoots, etc.) with guests of any age, and Keiko Studios facilities/rooms in a professional manner that promotes safety and an inviting atmosphere.

 

Event Security monitors all activity inside the building, including all individuals entering and exiting the building and ensuring only invited persons are in attendance. Event Security ensures the proper usage and maintenance of all equipment, facilities, and technology belonging to Keiko Studios, taking every precaution to prevent any unnecessary damages.

*This position is "on-call" and shifts are dependent on dates that events are booked at our venue. Event Security will be notified via email when an event is booked and shifts are available.*

Responsibilities:

Customer Relations

  • Welcoming all guests with a smile

  • Directing all guests/event attendees to designated areas

  • Accommodating guest's requests politely and professionally

  • Addressing customer queries and complaints

  • Taking payments and billing renters

  • Ensuring all safety procedures have been adhered to

  • Monitor surveillance cameras

  • Monitor all individuals entering and exiting the building

Coordination:

  • Coordinating with different departments for the smooth running of special events

  • Take note of any extension of hours requested

  • Take note of the exact time guests leave the event

  • Take note or pictures of any damages to Keiko Studios property

  • Communicating with event manager and co-workers where appropriate

Preparation of Venue:

  • Assisting in setting up venues for various events and functions

  • Ensuring that the event venues are clean and organized at all times

  • Ensuring appropriate and correct use of all Keiko Studios property

  • Cleaning the designated areas

  • Ensuring timely venue setup and clearing

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Having a flexible, approachable, and a positive attitude

  • Excellent managerial and organizational skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work at long hours

  • Ability to anticipate problems and deal with them quickly and smartly

  • Good physical and mental stamina

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Ability to cater to guest requests and offer quality customer service

  • Well-versed with emergency and safety protocols

  • Highly energetic and motivated

  • Having an eye for detail

  • Ability to manage time efficiently
