Born and raised in Brooklyn New York, music has been a part of Brandon’s life from the time he was born. His father, also an accomplished musician, started him on the piano and drums at age 3. He went on to study classical, jazz, and gospel approaches under various notable private instructors all the way through university. He performed primarily in church until the age of 16 when his professional music career began. Over the years Brandon has had the opportunity to share the stage with some amazing performers and artists in the world of jazz and gospel. Wycliffe Gordon, Judy Bady, Curtis Lundy, Pastor Marvin L. Sapp, Jonathan Dunn, Dorinda Clark Cole… just to name a few. He is a proficient multi instrumentalist (piano, drums, bass guitar) and has performed live and on recordings on each one of these instruments.
Brandon's love for teaching sprouted his sophomore year in college when he took a job as a Fine Arts educator at a local charter school in a small town close to where he earned his Bachelor’s degree at Andrews University. This love for educating young minds turned into a 10-year long teaching career that is still flourishing to this day.
When he’s not spending time with his wife Brittney, and two kids (BJ and Bri) you can catch him performing with local talent at some of the city’s hottest venues. He’s had the opportunity to perform at Rockwood Music Hall, SOB’s, The Groove, The Bitter End, Arlene’s Grocery, the list goes on... Brandon is also a serial entrepreneur who runs 2 businesses, one of which being a music production and entertainment company. Brandon loves to travel, read, and add value how and where he can.
